John Law talks about “The zone” which, as he says “is a place were you come together and decide as a group that you are going to leave your town, your comfortable place, and go to an entire alien environment. Not only a physically alien environment, but also psychologically, emotionally and metaphysically.” In “The zone” anything could happen.
The first “Burning Man” in the Black Rock Desert in 1990 was a Cacophony Zone trip were they went out with artists and lived in the desert for 2 weeks, building an environment that they lived in and were part of.
