Chim↑Pom has worked in „dirty“ parts of countries, which one would not visit as a tourist. All this projects are related to the destruction of the environment and to poverty.
Confronted with the impact of the tsunami the collective questioned:
„What is art? Art is impotent, art is useless in the face of such disasters. […] If we don't do anything, art will vanish. Art has to have something own, something potent.“
