John Law introduces „The Cacophony Society“, formed in San Francisco. This was a really „loose“ group, that never was intended as an art project. This group grew out of an earlier group – „The Suicide Club“. Both groups were influences by many other groups of the 60s, for example „the free school movement“ which started in a lot of university in the United States as a response to the student unrest of the late 60s.
