Marko Peljhan

Marko Peljhan inició Makrolab como una unidad autónoma de comunicación, investigación y espacio habitable, capaz de alojar el trabajo intensivo de cuatro personas en condiciones de aislamiento durante un periodo de hasta 120 días. Concebido en el 1994, este proyecto se realizó por primera vez durante una exposición de arte, Documenta X en Kassel (Alemania) en el 1997 y desde entonces se desarrolló incluyendo el trabajo de muchas personas procedentes de diferentes disciplinas. Makrolab tiene planeada una duración de diez años y el proyecto se finalizará en el 2007, cuando una nueva estructura se coloque en el Antártico como base permanente.
