Paolo Cirio tries to propose his work as a „Sculptural Performance Art“ where the reconfiguration of Information's Power takes place via different processes.
In „P2P Gift Credit Card“ he issued and spread thousands of illicit VISA credit cards, counterfeiting virtual money in order to introduce wealth redistribution through a new monetary policy. Cirio points out, that 90% of the money circulating is basically virtual. Another project he talks about is „Face to Facebook“, that questions the value of privacy, having as an target one of the most powerful companies in the world: Facebook.
The project received a huge amount of (press) reaction, including threatenings and affronts by Facebook and users of it.
